How did I get here?
After growing up in New Hampshire and attending engineering school, I began my working life employed by tax consultancies before working for a Fortune 100 company as a financial analyst. I decided to give up that career and go to law school in 2018, as I was approaching 30 years old, because I decided I could no longer serve corporate interests. My goal from the minute I decided to pursue a career as a lawyer has been to work for working people, fight against corporate malfeasance, and seek justice for people just trying to live their lives. This is still my mission, every day.

I began my legal career with HOME Line, a Minnesota-based tenant's rights nonprofit, in my third year of law school as a part of the Saeks Public Interest Residency Program. In my time there, I advised 3,730 renters across the state, defended tenants in eviction cases, and worked on state and local legislative policy issues. After three years, I took a job with a plaintiff-side employment law firm litigating class-action cases concerning racial discrimination, wage and hour disputes, and breach of ERISA fiduciary duties.

Now, I work for myself, free to take the cases that I think deserve to be fought.

I live in South Minneapolis with my wife, almost four-year-old son, and equally adorable and frustrating greyhound (Noodle). Outside of work, I have a passion for local politics. I advocate for important issues and volunteer for progressive campaigns. I also collect movies and music in physical media, so you can be assured that at least some of what I earn working for you will be spent on obscure DVDs.
